Mod collection by Mae Engelgeer

Two weeks ago I visited Studio Mae Engelgeer for one of my projects. As the name says, Mae Engelgeer, a talented Dutch textile designer, runs her own studio in Amsterdam.

She showed me her newest work: the minimalistic MOD collection. This one is my favorites, perfect colour combinations, and the soft sense of materials. The Mod Collection has a tactile sense with a beautiful blues gradient in colours. See for example how amazing the blanket looks on the white bed linen. Even where some colours are dark, there’s still a subtle quality of light apparent. The graphical tea towels strengthen your minimalistic kitchen: a wonderful example of two opposites embracing each other.

Get the blues and enjoy your workweek!
Love, Wen

It is really nice to see how Mae is expanding her collections. Indeed she really makes the most beautiful things. I know for sure that there is more to come. The textiles she uses are very soft and high quality.
